Mindfulness-Based CranioSacral Therapy 2
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive style of therapy that partners with the natural healing processes of a person. Insight meditation is an awareness practice based on Buddhist principles and Buddhist psychology that builds, strengthens, and empowers people in self-awareness and self-knowledge.
There is a natural overlap between CranioSacral Therapy and the insight meditation tradition in that both rely a person’s ability to be still, attuned, and open to the present moment. For this reason, the teachings and practices of meditation can be extraordinarily beneficial for the CST practitioner in their client work.
This six-week introduction to insight meditation will build the foundations of mindfulness practice with a specific focus on issues relevant to the CST practitioner.
Saturday mornings at 9:00 am California time for approximately 1 hour each.
Each session will consist of a short teaching on the subject, followed by a group meditation, and ending with sharing of experiences and questions and answers.
Participants are requested to plan on attending as many of the session live as possible as well as committing to practicing the meditations between sessions.
