Trisha Schmalhofer

peer-group-mentors-the-body

After graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology in 1993, Trisha Schmalhofer entered the complementary health field in 1996 with a license in Massage Therapy in Florida. She discovered Upledger CranioSacral Therapy in 2000 and felt drawn to the work and dove deep into the curriculum- especially the glial and immune system classes. Trisha brought CranioSacral into spas, salons, fitness centers, medical offices, herb/supplement shops, and then opened her private practice in Florida. She took Eric’s virtual Chronic Depletion class in 2020 and loved the new paradigm so much she continued on the SIBT track. Trisha incorporates this new framework into her current private practice and has seen amazing results with herself and her clients. Working with her, you can expect to share, connect, laugh, talk about energy and be in awe of Inner Wisdom at work in everything we experience. And if given a chance, she’ll play her 32-inch gong for you as well.

Michelle has been a healing arts practitioner since 1995 with practices in San Jose, CA and now LA, California. With a diverse background, she focuses on CranioSacral Therapy and Systems Informed therapy in her private practice in Studio City, CA. Coming from a systems-informed approach has helped broaden her view of ways of working with clients. She loves how SIT offers a more holistic lens to the bigger patterns operating in a client's life - a perspective that allows for creativity in therapy and growth.

In various pools around the LA area, she also specializes in Aquatic Bodywork. Michelle enjoys bringing CST and SIT into her aquatics practice. Her passion and skills are in working with trauma. She has done a multi-disciplinary study of trauma and is also currently working on her Somatic Experiencing certification. In CranioSacral therapy, she is a certified practitioner, teaching assistant, and study group leader. “One of the things I have really appreciated about our healing communities is all the support I received from teachers, mentors, and colleagues. Their support and encouragement has been invaluable to my growth as a practitioner and a human being.  I am thrilled to be able to give back and support my fellow healing arts practitioners in return!”
